Position Overview:

A senior accountant is responsible for preparing, auditing and reporting all financial transactions within the organization.

Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities:

• Processing and verifying expenses, correct errors and investigating abnormal expenses.

• Processing and verifying payroll.

• Periodic analysis and reporting of financial performance.

• Making banks transfers and payments.

• Sending timely statements and invoices to corporate clients.

• Receiving, auditing and registering income.

• Reviewing and updating accounting codes.

• Providing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.

• Ensure financial transactions, policies, and procedures meet corporate objectives and regulatory body requirements.

• Performing internal auditing and support external auditing process.

• Any other tasks requested by direct supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

Experience: Minimum 2 years of corporate employment

Language: Fluency in written and oral Kurdish and English, Arabic would be advantageous

Work Hours: 40 hours per week
